The first method to use
ARIADNE is to actually use all process models from both the ARIADNE-SE and the
ARIADNE-PM methodologies in an integrated manner as shown in the following
figure.
This way an organization has the capability to use every process model
whenever needed at any time and under any circumstances. Once all the process models are available
there are no limits.
This method can be characterized, and actually is, the most expensive on to use. On the other hand it is the most complete, assuring that any type of project can be managed at all times. This power on process models can also harm an organization with no maturity on managing projects by processes.
In the case that the set of processes offered by this method of using ARIADNE are to many, a subset of them can be used creating a methodology for the needs of each project.
If all processes are available it is easy to pick a subset of them only if the project goal and project management expectations are known.
No other methodology in the world allows its processes to be in total control by the project manager. ARIADNE offers a unique capability to built a different methodology for each project at any time. The problem with this is that besides capability it expects organizational maturity and management culture.
