ARIADNE as a Methodology for Technological Investments Management

Ariadne is a technology which functions successfully as a project management methodology for the development and / or the acquisition management of an information technology project or technologic investment/ initiative.  Ariadne is primarily composed out of two sub-frameworks, one for the technology development management and one for the acquisition management.

The two frameworks along with the combinations of the process models per framework and the elements within each process model can provide the development of a methodology per project, managing any type of project, any size, with any budget, any technology, any management maturity, and other constraints.

Ariadne today is composed out of more than 9.000 processes, 5.000 templates, 2.000 deliverables, and many other project management elements supporting notonly ‘what’needstobedone but primarily ‘how’ it shall be done, in order provide practical guidance and to achieve successful project management results.

On the other hand, in order for Ariadne to be accepted by the international project management community, the are process models, and version of Ariadne help Ariadne to be completely compatible with 25 other international project management oriented methodologies, and also  quire similar with other 26.

It must be noted that in order for Ariadne to dedeveloped,  116 international methodologies used for systems development and acquisition project management were studied thoroughly and best practices, concepts and approaches selected from them were transferred to Ariadne where they were bridged with processes developed by EMPROSS.
